Easy Cargo System has been faced with an increasing demand for a software solution that combines automatic route optimization and planning of all available transport units. There are especially large savings to be gained when the carrier transporting general cargo or distributes with multiple stops. Such a solution is now possible with Easy Cargo Systems cooperation with LogPlan ApS.

Automatic layout
The solution reuses easy4WARDs information on transport services, drivers

and vehicles. It quickly and automatically selects the best and most economical overall disposition. You therefore don’t need to enter all relevant information more than once in the system and the system continuously takes into account new information. It is therefore a much more expanded form of route optimization, which ensures that all resources are used to best effect.

Small investment, big savings
The agreement Easy Cargo Systems has signed with LogPlan ApS ensures a cheaper start-up, as it is an ongoing subscription dependent on the number of vehicles to include. "It has been vital for us to offer a solution that quickly provides transportation company greater savings than the solution cost, thus

a quick 'Return of Investment.'" Says Finn Laursen.
With the new module "LogPlan to easy4WARD" carriers therefore no longer need to place large investments and have problems of operation and updates, as the module draws on LogPlans web service via the Internet.

CO2 – from enemy to benefit
With this module Easy Cargo Systems hopes to clear the way for hauliers,

freight forwarders and carriers so they can finally offer the popular CO2

accounts for their customers. It would create an estimated CO2 consumption, which can then be reviewed against the current consumption. Thus there may

be a more accurate accounting of CO2 consumption in the current booking.

"CO2 accounts will in future be a requirement from the politically conscious consumers and can therefore already be a competitive advantage for those carriers that take advantage of it." Says Finn Laursen.
